  • What do I get with my monthly subscription?
    You’ll get 1-on-1 help with our team of experts, access to our entire Profit First template and recorded course library, group accountability, private Facebook group access, and monthly Q&As with Julie Herres!
  • What does the 1-on-1 help look like?
    You’ll have the opportunity to ask your specific Profit First questions at our weekly office hours via Zoom. You can drop in our “office” as frequently as you’d like during the designated times to get personalized help. Attendance is optional and at your discretion, but we encourage you to utilize this amazing benefit!
  • How is this different from the Profit First for Therapists book, or the information on ProfitFirstForTherapists.com?
    The main (and significant) difference is the people-part! With membership, you will get to engage with our Profit First coaches and with other members for support. In addition to the 1-on-1 office hours, you’ll get a live Q&A with Julie Herres. There is also additional training available exclusively in the membership library.
  • Can I implement Profit First on my own after reading the book?
    Yes, absolutely. But if you would like support, accountability and a way to ask questions along the way, the membership is for you!
  • Will I have to share my practice numbers with the group?
    Only if you want to. We may host a "hot seat" Q&A from time to time, and it's 100% up to you if you'd like to sign up. During office hours, you can receive 1-on-1 support from one of our Profit First coaches. This is a private setting where we encourage you to share the nitty-gritty details, but they won't be shared with anyone else.
  • How do I know if the Profit First Academy is right for me?
    The Profit First Academy is designed to support you by giving you foundational steps to Profit First implementation AND giving you a chance to work with Profit First coaches on an ongoing basis. Whether you are brand new to Profit First or have hit some bumps along your journey, we can help.
  • Can't I just work with my accountant or bookkeeper to get Profit First implemented?
    Maybe? If they are Profit First Professionals (PFP), that might be an option. But we know from experience most PFPs charge thousands of dollars to help get Profit First setup and hundreds of dollars each month for ongoing coaching. We priced the Profit First Academy to be accessible and less expensive than an hour of your accountant's time.
  • I've been using Profit First for years, can I still benefit from the Profit First Academy?
    Yes! If you've been implementing Profit First for years, but sometimes feel like something's not quite right, or you'd like some accountability to stay on track, our Profit First coaches can help. You'll be able to skip the modules to Phase 4. You can still benefit from the office hours, Q&As, bonus lessons we have available for you in the Academy.
  • Can I benefit from Profit First Academy if I'm just starting my private practice?
    Absolutely! What a gift it is to be able to start your practice with Profit First. You'll be able to implement the framework from your first dollar earned!
  • What is your refund policy?
    We do not offer refunds on the membership, however you can cancel your subscription at any time directly in Teachable.
  • How long will I have access to the tools in the Profit First Academy?
    As long as you are a member, you will have access! You'll also be able to make a copy of our Google Sheets templates to customize them for your practice. You'll have access to those forever!
  • What is the time commitment of the Academy?
    This is a membership with self-paced curriculum. You can spend as much or as little time as you'd like on the courses. Past members have found the most success by scheduling about 20-30 minutes per week to focus on Profit First.
